Yummy desert was great.

I few years before the Breakaway was built i read about it and I heard about the solo cabins a a reduced price and it would be sailing from NY. These things excited me because I live in NJ and hate the idea of flying to a ship. Next on the sad note I was alone because the death of my wife to be. We traveld a lot and did our first cruise on Norwiegian. So getting my life back together I had to venture out on my own.

I got to the port early and check in went fine yes it was alot of people but we movied though the line with no problem. On boarding it was very smooth I checked out my room and looked around the ship it is a lot bigger then the last ship I was on. I know I had the idea of booking a solo room but I had enough money to afford a mid ship balcony room on deck 14. I will never cruise with anything less then a bacony now I loved it. The room was very clean and we organized I had more then enough storage. The batroom was bigger then I thought it would be. My stewart was great and a joy to interact with.

We sailed with th first stop in Miami I stayed on board and enjoyed a nice day reading and listening to music on the pool deck. everyone was ver friendly. Walking around the ship was great I had no problem finding the things I was looking for. I found one of my favorite places was O'Sheehan's Neighborhood Bar & Grill loved the wings and the bananna splits and many of the other dishes. I also ate at the Steak House, Moderno Churasscaria and the Japanese place they were all great and soo much good food.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

Nothing negative about the room. it is a great room clear views from the balcony. Everything worked in the room. I wished the room safe could fit a laptop but no dealbreaker there. Shower had plenty of hot water. Sound no problem there. Did not feel any of ship movement.

Great Stirrup Cay

Just went ashore and checked out the beach scene. Enjoy the sun and a dip in the water.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Stayed on ship and enjoyed the pool deck

New York (Manhattan)

Boarded the ship here and everything went very smooth.
