we chose this cruise because it was the Solstice class ship and we'd never been to the central America ports of call. All in all, it was a lovely cruise vacation. We were able to see the panama canal (we did not go thru it tho) and went zip lining in costa rica, and did the amazing race Cozumel which were the three highlights of this cruise. Frankly we did not like Cartagena due to the hoards of people in your face trying to sell you junk. Worse than Jamaica!

We went aqua class because we love Blu and the menus didn't disappoint. The service was outstanding, and we asked for one particular waiter every day and mostly got him. Vinod was so attentive and even brought us things to try that we didn't order, and they were always delicious!

The only thing disappointing about this cruise (and celebrity in general) is the entertainment is subpar. WE've sailed 5 other lines and the singers and dancers were definitely inferior to the other lines. However, that wont stop us from sailing Celebrity again.

Cabin Review

AquaClass 1

Loved being in aqua class, we chose it not for the spa, but for the restaurant. We love Blu, the cuisine is healthier than the usual cruise fare! And delicious! The cabins are smaller than we've had on previous sailings, but adequate. we had enough storage, but did use the sofa to store things on as well. the extra storage above the bed is necessary! suitcases do store easily under the bed. we did use them to store the laundry!

Port Reviews

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

we went shopping, not much that is anything different from anywhere else in the carribean

Cartagena (Colombia)

took a taxi to old city and frankly with all the people selling junk, it didn't appeal to us at all
