We have been on many, many Holland cruise and I've never had a bad thing to say about them but, this cruise was far from Holland's standards. First, our shower door didn't close. We called for service, By the the next day, nobody had shown up so, the cabin steward reported it. Someone finally showed up that evening when we were ready for bed.

Our first dinner in the Pinnacle was one of the most awful meals of my life. It took 20min for a server to even acknowledge us. It took 70 minutes for our food. When it came, my med rare steak was blood rare and the fries were as cold as could be. It was only the second or third time in my life to ever sent food back but, it was inedible. Our second visit was better but, still not what we normally see in the Pinnacle.

Even our cabin stewards were not up to standards. These were not stewards on the Main Deck. These were the steward who service the large suites. Several times, they left a dust rag in the cabin and forgot to leave a bath mat. Hand sanitation had definitely declined. I mentioned it to the desk and they told me others had also complained.
