We had 16 cruisers total for our holiday trip. We had been planning the trip for almost a year. Everyone was so excited to travel on this huge ship with so much offered. To start off, I never even saw our cabin steward. He never introduced himself or explained how the sign on the outside of the door worked. Ours was put on "Do not disturb" from the last cruise so we didn't get our cabin made up or clean towels for the first 2 days. Finally one of our fellow cruisers told me about it.
The pools were way too small for the number of people on the ship. The adult pool has only a ladder to get in and out of the pool with. I was traveling with two elderly ladies who couldn't get even get in it. It was very hard to get a lounge chair anywhere on the ship. The days at sea were a zoo trying to get a seat anywhere.
The food was so so. If you don't like seafood your options were very limited and about 1/3 of the menu was available for an up-charge. Watch your bill too. I ordered a glass of sangria and was charged for a pitcher. I went down to customer service and was assured it would be taken care of. The charge was never removed from my bill. I will not cruise on this ship again. I was underwhelmed with the service, food, and amenities.
Shower is a frosted glass right as you enter the cabin. If one is taking a shower and someone comes to your cabin they better be a very close friend. Poor service.
Fund day. The beach was great. Went to get some food at 2:30 only to find that it had already been closed down.
