Sail Date: Nov 2016
Cabin: Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

This was our second RCI cruise in a balcony cabin just four along the corridor on level Seven from the one we had on the Mariner last year from Tianjin. The difference this time was to go to Sydney by train from Canberra at a nominal cost with saving on air travel.

As the Voyager and Mariner are the same class of ship, all facilities were at once familiar and in the same place. While this brings advantages, the urge to make comparisons kept bubbling up in our minds. Again took ultimate drinks package which provides freedom of choice, but no coke glasses!!! not that we needed them.

Embarkation from Sydney was well ordered and out of this world when we looked back on the bun fight that ensued in Tianjin when all three thousand seemed crowded in that departure hall. Crown and Anchor membership helped to an extent but is not an absolute necessity. Return was no less smooth as we virtually did not stop in the arrival process at our planned time with Customs processing an easy flow.
