This 10-day cruise was really wonderful - calm seas, great food & entertainment, and the ship was all decorated for Christmas. The New Year's Eve parties and entertainment truly sent 2016 away with balloons falling from the ceiling, noise makers and a lot of happy & safe people celebrating the incoming year of 2017. It's been years since we've actually gone out in public on this eve of eves so we really enjoyed the celebrations aboard ship.

We took three of the offered excursion trips and every one of them were excellent. The volcano in Colima Mexico even showed activity by bursting steam and ash into the air twice when we visited the Aztec ruins there.

The Grand is a little older ship but has recently undergone some upgrading, it's clean and comfortable. The bed/pillows were fantastic. As a gluten free eater I couldn't have been more pleased with the special meals prepared by the chef.
