This is the second time we sailed on the Epic. Five years ago we sailed when it was fairly new and had a great time celebrating our 30th Anniversary. This time around family came with us. The NCL booking staff were extremely helpful finding us rooms next to each other.
The ship was just as great the second time around. Sailing twice on it made it easier to maneuver around such a large ship; plus I checked the decks out before hand to become familiar again. The hardest part was our cabins were on the starboard side instead of the port like before. I would turn left instead of right going to our rooms.
Since we had sailed on the Epic before the curved room wasn't a surprise or concern; it actually had more storage that any other ships. I really liked the room and since we had our couch by the balcony it did feel like we had more room. It was clean and well stocked when we arrived and continued throughout our time onboard. Our steward was very attentive.
The cabin was great. The only thing was the lack of plugins for electronics. We brought an extra plugin with several options to plugin and charge electronics.
We went to the beach and hung out.
