This was my first cruise together with my wife. We choose this cruise because it was the only choice we had for the date and location. The embarkation felt like we were in a third world country, especially the handling of the luggage, left with no security and handled by people more interested by getting a tip then by giving a service. We were relieved when we saw our luggage arrive in our cabin. Next time, we will keep our baggage with us. We were happy with almost everything. The overall quality was up to expectation. Our cabin with balcony was just great.

The only problem was the food at night in all restaurants where no extras are charged, including the cafeteria Windjammer and the main dining room; it was just ok, sometimes cold, sometimes overcooked, sometimes without taste. For example, we had the steak in the main dining room: cooking was perfect but it arrived cold in a cold plate and the quality of the meat itself was mediocre. In the Windjammer cafeteria, there is variety but you have to search to find food that is tasty and well prepared, especially at night. The breakfasts and the lunches are great, although the hotdog bread and the hamburger meat could be upgraded.

Apart from the food deception, the holiday aboard was just great and we had a good time. The shows were great; the staff real nice; the boat is clean. It is a great boat for a family vacation.
