We originally had this cruise booked to depart from Houston, but after Norwegian pulled out we were left with having to change our plans. Unfortunately Norwegian didn't offer us anything for the inconvenience, but that is how it goes these days. So we switched to a week earlier, and cruised from Tampa. The service is good, not fantastic. With the exception of Salvatore in the Tankards, he was great. I have noticed since Norwegian started the Ultimate Beverage Package, the severs that work the bar areas are not asking if you want another drink, If you can catch one they are good though. The food was for the most part very good, with the prime rib in the dining room being exceptional. Shows which we attended were typical cruise shows.

We just walked around in Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Harvest Caye. Harvest Caye was and early stop 7am - 12:30pm, and still isn't 100% completed. Was nice enough though, but you need to take cash as your room card doesn't work for most things.

The excursions were the biggest disappointment. Our debarkation tour of Tampa was cancelled as there was not enough people booked for it, We were refunded, and when asked if they had any suggestions the response was "The Florida Aquarium is within walking distance, and they have bag storage".

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Cabin BA

Cabin was typical, enough storage, bed was comfortable, bathroom small but functional. Our steward was very good, room was always clean, and in good order. Though the Jade is slated for a dry dock in March, she is showing her age.
