Myself and my wife went on a cruise for the first time and having read lots of reviews we decided to go on the Norwegian escape ship.

The ship is a massive ship and very busy with lots of restaurants and bars to choose .

We didn't pre purchase a drinks package but when we got on the ship we wanted to purchase one but was quoted $1300 for the 7 days, considering my wife doesn't drink alcohol I consider this extreme and to be honest an absolute rip off so we didn't purchase one and just bought a drink when we wanted one . Drinks on the ship are very very expensive and as UK national I purchased a Newcastle brown beer , unfortunately it wasn't what the label said and I'm not sure what they were selling me. Read more
