We were a party of four: my wife, me and two of our close friends (married couple). We enjoyed the ship and the entertainment is absolutely top notch. Momma Mia in full (not parts of..I mean all 2.5 hrs. of it was there. They also had an outstanding ice show, a show called "Blue Planet" that I can no describe but it's a must see. And the ship's orchestra is very, very verstatile and very accomplished. They band leader, Kevin, is about the best band leader I've ever seen. Being a musician myself having played, in military bands for 30 years as well as many others I am a trusted source. Momma Mia's director also plays piano and sings around the ship sometimes with some cast members. Truly awesome musicians and singers on board.

The only two negatives I have (my wife completely agrees) about the whole week is: 1. that the soundtech(s) think that burying the vocals with the instrumentists is a good and wonderful thing. NOT. The band (ship orchestra) is awesome but they are truly over mixed for the room. My guess is that the soundtechs are intrumentalists. 2. no coffee pots in the rooms. RC doesn't put them in the staterooms...maybe just in the suites. Other cruise ships include them..I miss it everytime I cruise with RC.

The food was awesome everywhere we ate: 150 Central Park ($) and the complimentary meals.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

It was an balcony cabin. RC doe not give you coffee machines BUT you can order room service or walk down the the prominade (floor 5) and get coffee 24/7 (complimentary) or Starbucks ($) when they're open. It was the normal stateroom we always get (minus the coffee machine) with the usual comfortable bed, roomy bathroom. The TV has very few channels and with many channels on a continuous loop. If you like to watch the news at night, only CNN International is available. No weather stations to keep up with the snowstorms back home while you're nice and comfy warm...LOL.
