I went with two friends for a girls' trip. We came into New Orleans on Friday night and spent Saturday exploring the city. There was a cold snap so we were a little chilly, but there was plenty to do. We used the Hop-on/Hop-off bus tour and it was convenient and fun. We ate brunch on Sunday morning and arrived at the port around 12:45. Embarkation was easy and fairly quick. The security line looked overwhelming but moved reasonably quickly, and check-in with Norwegian was fast. We dropped our carry ons off at our cabin, and went to explore the ship and book spa services.

Our interior cabin was very clean, and perfectly adequate. It was kept up nicely, but we missed small touches we had gotten on our previous cruise (I like chocolates on my pillow. It's a small nitpick, I know).

On the first sea day, we each had several spa services and spent time in the thermal suite. There were two large hot tubs, a lap pool, and thermal beds. All 3 of us had thermal suite passes and we were there a lot throughout the week. It was nice that they limited the amount of passes they sold, and it never felt crowded. I had a great experience (3 massages and a facial over the course of the week) at the spa, and never had a less than pleasant interaction with any of the staff there.

The cabin was fine. There was a good amount of storage, and the shower was larger than I had expected.
