Cabin: Stateroom with French balcony
This was such a wonderful Christmas/New Year. No food shopping, no fighting crowds on the high street - just a restful, relaxing, gentle cruise along the Danube, Main and Rhine rivers.
The crew were all so welcoming, the food delicious, the bar staff attentive and good wines and beers too.
Excellent (mostly free) excursions - and graded so that anyone not so fit could still take an excursion and time was allowed for them to take their time, with seperate excursions for the fitter, faster passengers. There was on offer several optional (extra charge) excursions which included extras. Maps available at every stop with plenty of information about each of the stops.

Well laid out with plenty of storage. Room for suitcases under the bed. Apple screens provide in-room entertainment and (free) wi-fi. Room steward very efficient.
The bathroom was excellent with sliding-door to shower and good soap/shampoo/lotion etc.

Christmas Day - they did us proud (and managed to get some Christmas cheer themselves).

This was the beer stop for smokey beer (I was confused!) which I enjoyed.

Took lots of photographs - ran out of film!
Amsterdam
Deboarding was so easy and we were seen off by senior members of the crew. We had requested a taxi to take us to the airport and that was waiting for us.
We will sail with AMA again.
Budapest
We went direct from the airport to AMA Sonata and boating was SO easy.
