We chose this cruise as a family holiday Cruise, and it was ok. It wasn't fabulous or extraordinary. It was difficult to say the food was great, it was well done, but not great. The best part was the cruise director and his staff. We saw them a lot and they did their jobs very well.

The food options were ok, simply put. The main dining rooms used a lot of space for their new up charge items on their menus, and it took away space for other dining entrees. Usually it was one seafood, one vegetarian, and maybe 2 meat options, and six or so up charge options. They offered so many specialty dining options with their Cruise reservations that it was hard to get a seating in any of them. Even when we did get seated in Cagneys or LeBistro, the meal was not what I would give even 3 stars. I have dined at better places here in Minneapolis. The UBP was a good choice, but the bartenders and wait staff would closely monitor when we would order 2 beverages at a time. The rooms were typical to the other ships we have been on, and they were satisfactory. A few positive things were their large gingerbread house display of the ship, and the ship kinda had a holiday feel with some of the decorations and holiday movies and sing alongside.

Entertainment was average. The Brat Pack was the best offering, out of the few offerings they had.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BF

Cabin was good. Spacious and fairly comfortable. The bed was splittable and therefore a little uncomfortable. I did appreciate the USB charging ports on the lamps next to the bed.
