We originally chose the cruise because it went to the ports we wanted to see and we were able to get it for a pretty cheap price. This was my first NCL cruise and liked the fact that you could do things when you wanted and not on a schedule, including food and leaving.

I was fairly happy with the stateroom staff...even though some things weren't stocked, they were always there after we let them know.

The one thing that made me very mad was the NYE count down over the paging system in our room. Why in the world would you make a NYE count down in rooms when people are trying to sleep? Of course, NCL doesn't give you the chance to say this in the survey they send out.

See above. Not bad, but missed some things.

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Colombia)

Go check out the old city, but be careful of the tour bus operators who drive you to the shops (drive here means figuratively; they get a cut of whatever you spend in the shops) Taxi's are much cheaper.

Puerto Limon

Go see the tree of life and check out the public park (Don't pay for a tour.)

Roatan

Very nice.

Harvest Caye

Brand new and amazing...big enough so you don't feel crowded

Costa Maya

I don't care for all of the people trying to sell stuff...leave me alone.

The beaches are short and can get crowded, so get there early.
