First of all, hire a completely new set of customer service members for the Singapore cruise port. The male staff who ushered us was extremely rude. When we went into the port terminal, we didn't know where to go as there was another cruise ship as well. We asked the employee where to go and he immediately told us that the group of people beside us have been waiting for over an hour and that we have to wait like them. Did not answer our question of where we're suppose to go, instead, we were yelled at and being labelled as pushy people. The registration process was slow and unprofessional. When we got on the ship, we were immediately placed in the safety muster presentation which took far too long to be organized and presented. There were no chairs for the seniors, poor ventilation and no communication to the passengers.

The on board meals were good in the dining room and were good in the upstairs buffet for the first 7 days but the quality immediately went down after the first week. There's absolutely no entertainment for young adults or adults. There were only two music shows (like a miniature concert) for the entire 14 days. As someone who's gone on numerous cruises, we expect as least a couple of Broadway shows, more concerts and some sort of cirque du soleil-esque shows. There were way too many jewelry sessions and it just felt like this cruise was all about taking your money. Employees kept on asking if we wanted a drink (there were way too many bars, not enough bistros) every where we went to the point where we got annoyed. Employees kept on pressuring us to dine at the specialty restaurants even when we repeatedly told them that we weren't interested. Also, the transfer charges were ridiculous. Charging customers $10 for a 3 minute bus ride is ridiculous.

Shore excursions were also a rip-off. Charging us $200 CAD per person for the Brisbane wine tour and a trip to Sunshine Coast was ridiculous. With $200 a person, we were expecting a higher grade winery, not a super small, low grade wine shop. It was the worse tour I've ever been on. Every other customer on that tour came back shaking their heads and saying it was a huge disappointment. It was extremely disappointing. The room keys also did not work. We had to change the cards 5 times in 2 weeks. My mom's card kept on denying her entry back onto the ship and she had to be held back for numerous times. We were NOT impressed by Celebrity Cruises. If you say that you're a 5 star cruise, be a 5 star cruise and offer 5 star quality.

Port Reviews

Bali

The most congested place I've been the entire time. Overrated. I didn't feel safe. Beaches were dirty.

Darwin

Nothing much to do in Darwin. It was expensive but the walk around town was calming.

Cairns

Beautiful place with a nice lagoon. Worth the shuttle fee to go into the town and back.

Singapore

Singapore is just like any other major city. Very expensive. The port was poorly controlled by the embarkation staff. I got yelled at for asking where should I go to check in. POOR STAFF.
