Lack of good information regarding the necessary delay of the cruise after the tragedy in Ft. Lauderdale caused me to almost miss my cruise. The lack of details when booking the Chichen Itza shore excursion at Cozumel caused me to spend 129.00 for less than an hour's time at the ruins. It was not until I got the ticket in my room that I noticed the "travel time" was 7 hours of an 8-hour excursion. We were rushed, didn't have time to really see things, no time to buy anything, and felt it was not worth the 129.00 cost. Costa Maya docking was cancelled due to high seas, causing us to actually miss the beach-time and snorkeling we were looking forward to. No attempt was made to dock at another port, or even stay longer at Cozumel. The ship ran out of Guinness, my favorite beer, on day 3. The Guest Services manager mentioned "Validating" some of our long-term parking we were forced to use with our rental car after the rush to get to the ship on time, but never actually did anything, causing me to pay the entire 100.00 myself. The dining at my 8:30 seating on evening 3 was so slow that no one at my table had been served after we had been sitting an hour. It routinely took me over 15 minutes to receive a beer with dinner if I ordered it there and didn't bring one with me.
Excellent cabin, no problems.
