This was a short break after New Year as it was too soon to fly home to UK & flights were still expensive. So an all inc cruise to Bahamas on Sky was a no brainer! We were worried there would be heaps of drunken party animals, but this was never the case. Sure, the average age was much lower than on other NCL cruises weve taken, but that was good.
The drinks were fast & free flowing, never a long wait at any of the bars & pool service always obliging. The food in both dining rooms was good, not great, but good & there was always something we both liked on the menus, although there was not as much choice as we would have had n other ships. Many items were repeated. Service was good in both, the asst maitre d' was knowledgeable & nice wines (Estancia Pinot Noir& Matua NZ Sauvignon) were poured frequently at dinner if you asked! Not quite as good wines were served in the bars, sadly. We are not buffet fans, the range offered there looked quite small, but again it is quite a small ship. Breakfast at the back f the ship, in the Great Outdoors was fine though, in fact, we preferre it there to the MDR breakfast. Il Adagio for pizza, pasta foc lunch was a bit disappointing. We didnt choose any pay restaurants as we had tried them all on our recent T/A cruise on ncl Jade & were not over impressed.
Shows we saw were entertaining, very energetic & the lead male singer was excellent, IMHO too good for a career on a cruise ship! The British cruise director was sooo energetic, and of course we fellow Brits understood his sense of humour!
All as expected, quite near lfts but no noise. Kept clean & tidy by Natalie.
