This was a family vacation which included my son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren (ages 1 and 3 years old). The Allure of the Seas had something for everyone! The kids loved the cruise, characters, parade, kids camp, kids swim area and all of the great food. The parents enjoyed visiting the ports while I stayed on the Allure of the Seas with the kids. We felt safe and had our own great adventure on the ship while at the ports.

We had side-by-side cabins with a balcony. The glass dividers on the balcony can be opened in order for us to share space together on the balcony. We ordered breakfast one morning via room service and had a fabulous breakfast as a family on our balcony. We also took the baby monitor, putting the pack-n-play in the larger cabin (9546) and letting the 3 year old nap in my cabin (9548) - it worked out perfect!

We are currently planning another cruise for next year!

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D3

The cabins were clean and roomy! Getting the larger cabin to accommodate a pack-n-play was a great idea!!

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Getting onboard and departure at Fort Lauderdale was very organized and well executed by the staff.

The view from the ship was spectacular, as I stayed on the ship with grandchildren. We had a blast making our own adventure on the cruise ship while their mom and dad enjoyed going into Nassau.

Costa Maya

The view from the ship was spectacular, as we stayed on the ship with grandchildren. We had a blast making our own adventure on the cruise ship.

Cozumel

The view from the ship was spectacular, as I stayed on the ship with grandchildren. We had a blast making our own adventure on the cruise ship while their mom and dad enjoyed snorkeling.
