We've been on their other ships and were quite impressed. We were looking forward to sailing on this new ship. it did not disappoint us. It is quite huge yet we don't get lost. Everything is in the same place as other ships, the dining rooms in the back, theatre in the front, casino in the middle along with their famous Lido deck. The pools are everywhere but quite crowded on sea days. The pools are too small for the amount of people in them, no swimming possible just wading and talking. You can always find deck chairs or even little coves with sofas and chairs to keep cool in. The waiters are always around to serve cool, refreshing drinks all day and every night in the bars spread out all over the ship. We especially enjoyed the BB Kings and our favorite the 2 piano players and singers in the Billboard 2. They were fabulous and took requests for the latter part of their show. Every night was marvellous and this bar even had food for night snacking while you had a drink and listened to the music. (you could stay at any bar to listen to the music without drinking, never felt forced at all) The theatre entertainment wasn't up to our standards. Some shows were just OK while others were outstanding, we enjoyed them anyway. No lines to get in and no reservations needed. They always made fun of how no one was there at the 10pm show when we used to go as saying all the older people had gone to bed....there were lots of elderly people on the ship. We went during the New Year holiday so there were lots of family and youngsters too. The dining room was superb! Every night was different and high quality food along with their service. We had Open seating and were 9 people altogether and we never had a problem getting a table whenever we arrived, no matter the time. The service is impeccable....kudos to them, they keep their staff very happy and in turn, keep us happy too. There is always something to do or do nothing at all.....that's the way it should be !!!

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VH

This cabin was right at the beginning of the lifeboats. Therefore, the balcony was a little larger and it jutted out and we could see the promenade below and our view of the ocean was not obstructed as much as having it right in front of us. We had a nice view and a great balcony for less price.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We stayed 2 nights prior to the cruise. Always love this city, clean, lots of shopping available and good food everywhere. The beach is great and lots to do.

Half Moon Cay

Love their private island. Always clean and free chairs to lie down on and enjoy the water. They serve food too but we didn't have any. Their facilities are kept in good condition too. Lots to do if you want to pay extra.

Grand Turk

We stayed on the beach right as we get off the ship. It's free and has a Margaritavile with free wifi. The chairs are free and even have hammocks on the beach. The water is stupendous, we just loved everything here. Security was good so no peddlers to bother you. We spent the day here and within walking distance of the ship....really amazing.

Falmouth

We only ventured out to the secured area right off the ship. there are plenty of stores there but we did not go out of the secured area. We heard too many stories of their crazy driving (we had experienced this once before) and their thieves everywhere. We did not take any chances and just enjoyed the shopping. There is a huge Margaritaville here and so many people attended. They have free wifi and a huge pool, with a waterfall and a swim up bar. it was a hidden oasis that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

The only reason this stop is given a poor rating is that we had to tender over with the ship's lifeboats. The worst trip anyone can imagine. We complained to guest services when we got back as the other ships all had these big ferry boats tendering them over. The tenders were rocky and small and got us sea sick as only one at a time could disembark at a time, so there were wobbling in the sea....awful and unacceptable. Once on the island, its a very pretty island, lots of expensive shops. We did not go to the beach this time but their 7 mile Beach is renowned.

Cozumel

We took a taxi to Mr Sancho's beach. We had been there once before and went back. They have an all inclusive package for $55 per person, including food and beverage or A La Carte where we pay for only what we consume. We took the latter. There's no entrance fee and we get a little hut with chairs and beach chairs all along the water too. We ordered drinks once as that's how they make some money on us. When we arrived at the taxi stand the organizers of the taxis told us they didn't have the A La Carte version anymore.....not true, he was scamming us and we didn't appreciate that. We couldn't find him when we got back to make a complaint. The taxi driver himself confirmed that it still existed and took us there. We took another taxi back and had a super great day at this beach. Really recommend this place.

Key West

We walked around and had lunch at the restaurant Two Friends....the best seafood in town. The city is so pretty and lots of shops all around.
