First of all ,THE BEST NEW YEARS EVE CELEBRATION ON THE SEVEN SEAS!! Our 7th time on Reflection and still a great experience. If you sail often enough to different itineraries on the same ship you experience differences in services provided and the clientele it serves. There are also differing levels of service provided such as experienced between a stodgy Mediterranean and a laid back Caribbean cruise. This cruise was was definitely laid back. There were a few Tux's seen on NYE but most Elegant Chic was observed with sport coats. slacks and dresses.
Embarkation- we experienced a 30 minute delay in boarding and you would have thought by the reactions in the VIP lounge like the world had just ended. I'll never understand why people get so worked up over such a small wait. Turns out the added wait was for the crew to get off an extra 200 handicap (not all in chairs) folks. We can wait....
Food- once again we ate only in the specialty restaurants. It was good but you can see a difference in service level in all except for Murano. I felt the service was mostly rushed. Also there were a lot of "shortimers" on staff leaving in a couple of weeks so their attention was elsewhere. The Ultimate Dining Package was not available during the holidays. Of Course.
Cabin seemed small. Not enough drawer storage. Balcony OK. Attendant was great!
