Since this was our first cruise I did alot of research especially on this site. Thanks to all the folks that add reviews, do's and don't of cruising. Our cruise started out with a limo ride from our hotel to Port Canaveral. My kids loved the limo ride. I'm sure there were cheaper methods but it was vacation. The driver picked us at 10:00 and we were at the port by 11:00. I already had tagged our luggage so when we arrived we were greeted by the Sensation staff. From there was a short walk to get checked in. Our embarkation process lasted about 20 to 30 minutes and we were on the ship. A very smooth process. Once on the ship we looked around for a little bit, got our drink cards, grabbed a bite to eat from the Lido deck and hit the Waterworks. My kids 12,10, and 5 loved the waterslides and so did my wife and I. I was disappointed with the size of the pool. Very small and never got in due to the number of people. That was fine because of the slides. We had dinner every night in the Fantasy Dinning room. The food was good but not great. We had a great waiter named Dax. We had a different menu every night. One thing I did not was when we bought the drink cards that included all soft drinks (Coke, Sprit, etc) we would get charged gratuity. You have folks offering you drinks all day long. We would ask them to bring us a coke. We thougt "wow" what great service. When I received my invoice on the last day, I had several gratuity charges added to my bill. Next cruise I take I will go down one deck and get my own drinks. I could go on and on but overall we all had a wonderful time and will definitely cruise again probably Carnival.

Cabin Review

Cabin E

Cabin E11 was close to the crew space which did not bother us too much. You could hear some music but again did not bother us. I guess because by the time our head hit the pillow we were exhausted. My wife and two kids had cabin E27 with an Oceanview. It had a nice view. I was worried we would feel movement being so close to the front of the ship. Everyone once in a while you could feel a little movement but nothing that made us feel sick.
