We chose this cruise not so much because of the itinerary or cruise line, but we wanted an adventure our whole family could enjoy. Finding a time that would work for us and our two adult children is difficult (and getting more so), but we could make it work this past Christmas. Our travel agent (Lorena from Avoya) recommended this cruise, and we are glad she did.

My wife and I had only been on one cruise 30 years ago. My children each went on a cruise individually with friends. So, we don't have a large experience base for comparison. Having said that, the staff's excellent service and courtesy matched the beauty of the ship. There were plenty of activities for adults in their 20's and those a few decades older.

Entertainment in the main theater was good, but not excellent. Buzz Sutherland, a comedian, was the best. We particularly enjoyed the B.B. King All Stars and the pianists in Billboard Onboard. We missed some shows (probably because we spent too much time in the casino). I'm sorry I missed the juggler on a a night that the ship was really rocking and rolling from the rough seas! Read more
