We had a wonderful time in Hawaii.  The cruise was wonderful and we had no complaints about any of the services or staff that we dealt with.  Everyone was friendly and helpful.  Many of the wait staff in the restaurants had tips about things to see and do in port and enjoyed sharing in our excitement about being in Hawaii.  Speaking of the restaurants,  we loved the "freestyle" way of eating.  We never had to wait to be seated in either of the main dining rooms, and we didn't have to wear fancy clothes if we didn't want to.  The food was excellent and we were seated in different areas each night so we could enjoy the views.  We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and on the last night at dinner were treated to a special dessert and sang to by 7-8 servers.  Our cabin was always clean and well taken care of.  We had read about people complaining that the steward was never around.  We really have no idea what the big deal is.  Our room had everything we needed and we didn't go on a cruise to sit in our room anyway.
