We like small cruise ships, about 2500 passengers. The food at the dinning room was great and so the food in all the specialty restaurants. The buffet, indoor and on the pool deck, was ok, just ok. Best is to eat the dinning room, two locations, including breakfast and lunch. Evening shows were great and well organized, no need to make reservations. Large game room, large library, large gym, indoor spa with hot pools, sauna...etc for about $30.00 a day, per person. Shampoo and style for the ladies is limited in appointments so reserve ahead of time. Small casino with min bid of $6.00 at the black jack table, we enjoyed our time there. Many dance clubs, piano sing-along, karaoke bar, sport bar, cigar room, large coffee restaurant with limited sandwich menu. Our room was cleaned twice a day, nice staff, very friendly, complaints were addressed immediately, photographers are everywhere for pictures. In the Caribbean there is not much to see, so pick your off shore tours very carefully.
The room was not as big as we thought it would be, was not cleaned when we arrived, the ship is not new so a lot of water stains are on the walls and rust in the balcony rails. The bed skirt was dirty and torn, but was replaced with a better skirt after we complained. Overall, the room did not worth the amount that we paid for. We were disappointed.
We booked a tour to see the ruins and spice farm. This trip was disappointing: there was a small ruin structure in the middle of the forest and that was it, waste of time. The spice farm and botanical gardens description was not accurate. There is no botanical garden and the spice farm was closed on Sunday, during our tour. The ride was bumpy and very uncomfortable, if you have back issues, avoid this tour. We complained about this tour and we got our money back.
