We chose Royal Caribbean Cruise line because of past experiences. We were disappointed on the oasis ship. We booked a large Superior Stateroom w/Balcony. Cabin was small compared to other cruises and there was not enough draw space for 2 people. quality of linens, towels and pillows were worn and over used. bathroom smelled of mildew and shower water pressure was barely enough to remove soap from hair and body. We purchased the unlimited alcohol and beverage package so we would not be nickeled and dimmed, and at most of the Bars and restaurants we were told there was additional charges for drinks whether it was for wine or Alcohol and additional gratuities on those up charges. Also on all other cruises we have been on when purchasing the beverage package you in room fridge was at least stocked with water and this was empty. The specialty steak restaurant Chops had an up charge of $42pp to dine and upon ordering a porterhouse steak and not the regular house steak we were told there was an additional charge of $19. We would not mind paying for good quality food but steak was of of extremely poor quality and the meat was tough. Overall this was not the Royal Caribbean Vacation Experience we expected.
