Sail Date: Dec 2016

Ok, so we have sailed with NCL previously. We were on a much smaller ship on that cruise, and that may have a bunch to do with it. With that in mind, here's what I think of the Norwegian Epic ship.

We had no hot water one morning. 7am and I wanted to get going, to get my day started, but no shower for me! I called the front desk to ask about the water situation and the reply was "what water situation". This hot water issue caused half of the ship to loose hot water (I found out later). When I said we don't have hot water, she said oh, that water situation, they are working on it. I called back an hour later, same conversation. What water situation? Really people? Have some common sense. At 11, I called and asked and the lady said she would call me back. No return call. We did get hot water about 11:30.

Excursions - well, they are easy to book, but when you disembark the ship, there is NO organization whatsoever. We were told that we missed our excursion by an excursion team member...when in fact they just didn't know where we were to be. When we went to the Excursion desk after the day was over, we were told "you made your excursion, you have no complaint".

Cabin Review

Cabin mini suite

Mini suite - bed was short, toilet didn't flush all of the time, had to ask to have our shampoo and soap filled up, balcony was dirty from day 1....I guess that's about all I got to say about that.
