We were really looking forward to this cruise as it was our first with P&O (although we have been with Princess, Carnival, Disney, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity before) and with this being new and large we thought the ship, entertainment and service would be excellent - what a let down !

The Ship - the layout and feel of the ship feels strange and the main public areas i.e. lido deck and theatre are far too small for the amount of guests and because there is hardly anything going on then this makes more people congregate at these places. Also i think the ships cleanliness needs improving generally, especially for us was the cabin which was not the cleanest and we had an aft balcony cabin with the balcony and furniture looking disgusting due to the soot from the funnels blowing onto it but if this is the case then P&O should be onto it to keep it the way it should be.

The entertainment - poor, poor, poor - hardly anything going on of any interest especially when compared to other cruise lines.

Cabin Review

Cabin GD Balcony

Usual style of layout, tiny bathroom with awkward opening door and towel rail, balcony and furniture have soot stains all over them.

Port Reviews

Curacao

It was OK

Grenada

got private taxi around to Grand Anse beach for the day and it was good.

St. Lucia

Went for a walk around the town waiting for the transfer and to be honest the town was a dump.
