Our children took us on this cruise for our 70th birthdays. We drove from St. Louis to New Orleans which was a better departure point than Florida for us. Despite the number of people boarding, the process went very smoothly and reasonably quickly. We would definitely use New Orleans again. The same can be said for disembarkation. Again, despite the number of people to be served, disembarking was easy and non-stressful.
We sailed to the Western Caribbean (Cozumel & Progresso) on the Triumph. Since it was our birthdays, our cabin was decorated for the occasion. We loved the decorations and left them up the entire cruise.
The ship, our cabin, communal areas were always neat and clean. The staff was constantly sweeping, cleaning, wiping. Those people work so hard. They should be commended on a job well done.
Our cabin was fine for the two of us. It was smallish, but we expected that and didn't plan to spend much time there except when we were sleeping. It was clean when we arrived and our steward, Budi, ensured that it remained that way each day. He antipicated our needs and was super friendly. Wish he could come home with us!
