I choose my 1st cruise because I didn't need to fly. I travelled from Aberdeen to London by train & stayed overnight before getting coach to Tilbury from Victoria. After traffic problems embarking was so easy & I was in my cabin on Atlantic deck before I realised where I was.Lovely spacious clean cabin with so much wardrobe space.Took me a while to find my way about but soon worked out which lift took me to cabin. Invite to Solos Cocktail party was a lovely surprise & chance to meet people also on their own. My fellow table guests had all cruised before & soon put me at my ease.

Meals were excellent & even when I didn't like the choices there was always something lovely to eat. Breakfast & lunch was free seating so gave a chance to mix with many different guests. It was always good to meet up at own table at dinner to catch up with the others.

I went on 6 organised trips & had a great time especially the wine tasting ones. Shame weather was so bad in Lisbon that we really didn't see much. I loved the huge choice of drinks available on all inc package. It was fantastic & well worth it. I enjoyed the entertainment in Show Lounge & Captains Club as it suited my tastes.Shame so many people complained that it was poor but each to there own. I loved the chance to be in the Choir. It was a great experience being on stage singing excerpts from Les Mis. Brought us together as a group. I felt the days at sea lacked a little in entertainment especially if weather wasn't ideal for sitting out.
