We chose this cruise because of timing and last minute availability for booking. Ship was small, amenities limited and the crew is indifferent and uninformed. I rarely received an answer to a question on the first or even second try. This was my first Royal Caribbean Cruise and likely my last. I wasn't able to get my Crown and Anchor membership acknowledged at any point on this cruise despite the fact that I asked to have my number added to my profile multiple times. There are better experiences to be had aboard some of the competitors cruise lines.

On a positive note, the food was decent and variety/availability was good. The Cruise Director was corny and his jokes were lame. The show's were not Broadway material but were ok. Shopping locations are very expensive and somewhat of a ripoff as certain stores are pushed by the Cruise lines. This was really disappointing when one of the Ship's staff encouraged folks to shop in a particular store and said he would be there for a drawing at a particular time (just to ensure visitors to the shop).

CocoCay was a colossal waste of time if you aren't looking for a full day beach experience. Finally, there were a couple of events on the schedule that didn't happen because no one from the ship's staff showed up. Pools are very small and generally stayed full most of the time. I don't know if my experience reflects a typical Royal Caribbean experience but I will probably not give them another chance. I will definitely not sail on this ship again nor would I recommend it to others.

Cabin Review

Cabin size is ok and the staff does a good job of keeping them clean.
