Great cruise but the Island Princess is an inferior ship to the Coral Princess.

Loved the cruise - it was a repeat visit to the Panama Canal for us. Two of the ports were especially fun - San Juan del Sur in Nicaragua and Cartagena in Colombia. We enjoyed both immensely. The staff on the ship were great, and the food was good.

Our cabin was typical Princess with a big closet, and ample shelving. Cabin layout is a big plus. The Dining was find as were the Entertainment and Activities.

The biggest problem is the ship itself:

Balcony

Cabin BC

Honestly don't know the category of balcony. Great cabin in a quiet and convenient location.

Port Reviews

Cartagena (Colombia)

Went into the old town and enjoyed walking around. Lovely old city.

Cabo San Lucas

I'm travelling to the Hotel California, it's a lovely place!!! Enjoyed it immensely.
