We chose Royal Carribean for the 10 day eastern carribean cruise for the location out of NJ, no flying. The check in process was really not good as they don't give you any information, just merely check your passports etc. They don't tell you anything about dining etc. We had issues with linking our children's accounts to our account and we had done this on line ahead of time which was really frustrating.

There were a lot of days at sea and the ship was really swaying, so much so they had to cancel one of the shows. There are a lot of at sea days so be prepared for that. It is also quite cool starting off so pack a sweater or sweatshirt and pants if going out of NJ in the winter. They changed the dining only weeks before we sailed which really was terrible. All the restaurants have the same menu and the food is good but not superb. The shops are not really busy as the merchandise is not great. The shows were just okay and you must get there a half an hour ahead of time in order to get a decent seat. The times for the destination days are too short to try to do too much. The excursion to Orient beach in St. Martin was just okay. We had a great time on the Dancing Dolphin catamaran out of St. Thomas. You have enough time to do some shopping and come back to the ship and change and go back out again.

The towels on board are strange, you must always check them back in or you will be charged!

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom with Virtual Balcony

Cabin M

the virtual window is cool and we had adjoining rooms which was terrific. There was a restaurant above us and at 6 am every day they were rolling carts around which was not great if you wanted to sleep in. We chose this room because it was adjoining. There are not that many adjoining rooms but we really liked it. There is tons of storage and the bathroom is really nice, the shower is great. Beds are firm and the cabins are very dry at night.

Don't pack any power cords or travel irons as they will be confiscated!
