Chose this cruise and ship because it covered Christmas and New Years. There were 5400 guests on board. The ship is huge. It is beautifully maintained especially for that number of guests. HOWEVER, we encountered several problems along the way. First allow 45 minutes to get to the ship from the entry of Port Everglades. There were five ships in port and they had only two lines of traffic to get through security. Our luggage was taken at 12:30. I did not get it until 8 that night and I had to pick it up myself. Seems irons are not allowed which I didn't know. But instead of letting me know that was a problem within a reasonable amount of time I was called at 7:45 to come and open my luggage. Seems they won't open it on their own. They took my iron, which is fine but having to wait so long was inexcusable. The ship's activities are skewed to sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts of which I am no longer one. No problem except if you chose not to get off the ship there is absolutely NOTHING to do. Beware of specialty restaurants. We went to Izumi which was great. But others guests tried a few of the more expensive places and were very disappointed in the food.

Entertainment shows start late - 9 p.m. or later. So if you have dinner at 6 or 6:30 there's a lot of dead time until the show. I think they just want you to drink all the time to kill time.

DO NOT rely on the on-air account review. We had several problems and they account info was always wrong. One person at Guest Services said don't pay attention to the tv info! Really? Disembarking the biggest nightmare. You choose what time you want to leave the ship and assigned a #. Then they announce 12-15 numbers at a time and you're leave you standing in the lobby for 30+ minutes. Then get to pick up your bags and wait another 40 minutes to get through customs. Imagine 2,000 to 3,000 people going through long lines and having only 2 customs agents to process people through. Evidently this is an on-going problem and never gets fixed.

Cabin Review

Cabin Regular room with balcony

Amazingly there were enough spaces to store everything for two people. They had two beds and a sofa. They should can the sofa and replace with two smaller chairs to provide more space. Balcony was great and cleaned every day. Room kept clean and well stocked with clean towels.

Port Reviews

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Enjoyed market place at pier. Nice selection of stores and restaurants.
