This is the 4th cruise we have done with MSC, and it was wonderful again. We upgraded to Yacht Club again and the service, food and accommodation were all lovely. The staff are very attentive and always seem to be there at the right time. The ship is immaculate and they always seem to be cleaning and working so hard to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. We dined in the restaurant every day, the buffet can get busy so if this isn't how you like to eat, just go to the restaurant. I have read many reviews on MSC that seems to suggest they aren't very good, however, we have always enjoyed our holidays with them. It is a big ship with lots of people, but there is plenty of alternative space on board. The Yacht Club is tremendous, and really does make it a different experience. The food in the restaurant is very good, people have previously said the portion sizes are small, however you can have 7 courses! I am not too sure what people expect. At most we have 3 courses. I am a fussy eater and love the always available section on the menu. This is more for people who prefer plainer food, for example, pasta in tomato sauce, French onion soup, etc. Mainly I eat of the usual menu, however, sometimes I prefer just a simple plate, it's great,to have the option.

Cabin Review

Yacht Club Deluxe Suite

Cabin YC1

The cabin is lovely. The bedding is luxurious with a choice of pillows if you need it. We just had the standard ones. The bathroom is small but is perfect and has everything you need in it. The room is cleaned twice a day to a high standard, and should you need more towels you can just ring the butler. The rooms are a perfect size for the two of us, with a lovely couch and small desk with a mirror above where you can do your make up!

Port Reviews

Malta (Valletta)

This is an extremely beautiful port. We went to the gym whilst we were docked at Valletta, the view will take some beating.

Marseille

Nice port area, quite convenient from the ship.

Genoa

Not the prettiest port. However, there is a lot to do near the ship.
