Second time cruisers, first time with 2 teenage kids and over the Christmas holidays (and first time for vacation trip of anytime over the holidays). 5 days with departure from Tampa on 12/26 including two full days at sea and two ports (Grand Cayman and Cozumel Mexico).

As expected ship was pretty full but as gold level C&A status, RC check-in at departure port only took about 1/2 hour and we arrived there from nearby hotel shortly after 11am. We found the ship clean and staff attentive, and with plenty of on board activities, shows and events that we mostly attended and enjoyed.

Had dinner in the MDR each night, using MDT to book reservations night before or morning of for same table and staff with sitting between 530-600p. Usual MDR menus and food selections, including special holiday selections one evening, and we had no issues with the food and the service was excellent as usual. Experiences with breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer were varied and often disappointing as seating was often very hard to find and choices/quality of food lacking - but we managed, and also on a few days eat food from the Park Cafe. We did not book or use any of the extra charge restaurants as we were unwilling to spend yet more money when the cruise price already included food.
