Loved the ship and the staff. Typical design - but very clean and pretty. Loved the Cucina del Capitan, the casino and dive in movies. Loved the serenity deck with lots of space - but wonder why does Carnival insist on putting a serenity deck right by the water works where all the kids are and making noise as would be expected? Maybe a design team needs to look at putting this lovely serenity deck someplace that is serene. Our cabin was a typical 4J (interior with walkway view). The interesting thing is that people could see right in our window. Typically these windows you can look out of but not into - very surprising and did not like that. The entertainment was the BEST ever. The singers were phenomenal - even watched some shows twice. Not the typical we are mediocre so we have to show our butt cheek shows - but we are awesome so we don't have to be strip club like. LOVED it - would have been proud to take my aging parents and my grandson too...more like this please.

We do not prefer the American dining and skipped the MDR 4 nights out of 7. Loved our waitstaff - but just did not care for the selections.

Cabin 4J

Typical 4J - lots of room - only negative is people could see in through our window which was a first for us - typically the windows on these cabins have something on them that allows guests to look out but not in.
