It was a dream to be able to take our family on a cruise, and we finally made it happen this year! We truly had an amazing time aboard the Freedom of the Seas, sailing to the Western Caribbean. Everyone was pleased with their cabins, and we had the greatest cabin steward possible! We did have some plumbing issues, but managed to cope. Their was plenty for everyone in our group ranging in age from 10 to 70 years to do on the ship to stay busy or just relax.

However, We were a bit disappointed in the Holiday decorations which were minimal at best. We all enjoyed a delicious dinner at Chops Grill, but the food in our dining room (Issac) was far below expectations. Our food was cold to luke warm, not tasty, and lacked presentation. Service was sub par especially at breakfast. Food in the Windjammer Cafe was lousy with a few exceptions; serving tongs, etc. were often messy, and service employees offered no help other than to clean tables.

Live entertainment was just okay.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Nice clean and roomy cabin and balcony. Some plumbing issues in the bathrooms of several balcony rooms.
