Our party included my wife and I and our 3 young adult kids.
Ship - the ship seemed to be in pretty good shape having been updated within the last year or so. The layout is kind of confusing. We all thought the elevators were extremely slow and on most days we found the middle of the ship group not moving at all. We were disappointed that there was only 1 pool and no adults only area. There were 5 hot tubs, but they were usually overtaken by young kids.
Cabins - We had 2 separate cabins; 1 for my wife and I and 1 for the adult 3 kids. The kid's cabin was a mini suite which NCL advertises as "accommodates up to 4 guest perfectly". We were not sure how they figure that because there was just 1 double bed and a pull out couch that our daughter who is 5'1 and 100 lbs. could barely fit on. My wife and I's cabin, which was a tight fit probably typical of most cruise ships cabins, was comfortable enough.
This was just our second cruise, the other being on Princess. The cabins on both ships seemed comparable. The shower on the NCL Dawn was bigger. Definitely need to work around each other moving around the cabin.
Beautiful island. Just thought the zip line was a bit of a let down compared to other ones we've done.
Got harassed by local to the point I thought we were going to get in a fight.
