Cabin: Deluxe Stateroom with Balcony and Bath/Shower

We wanted a Christmas break and saw the Baltic cruise advertised, which seemed o fit the bill perfectly having only done warm Christmas breaks before.

The embarkation was slow but I would say average for a ship of this size, although the baggage handling was excellent. When boarding the ship the Christmas atmosphere was distinctively missing, the decorations were below par, The cabins were nice although smelt of greasy hair. The ship did give out small poinsettia's and a Christmas present.

The entertainment was also below par the best part was the Christmas pantomime which was hilarious. The feature acts were opera, a harpist, a singing quartet, Tom O'Conner and the ships dancers who were good. The ships band were quite good but they started their show and then stopped for an hour or so for horse racing to take place, there was no continual entertainment it was all bitty and people lost interest. The golf nets were good to spend 20 mins in as the temperature was too cold to spend any longer up on deck.

Reasonable size, did smell of greasy hair and the air con wasn't controlable. Could do with a nightvent on the window.
