We have cruised with NCL before, and had a blast! But.... this was a disaster from the start. We busted our butts to get to the 12:30 p.m. allotted departure time where we stood in line in the blazing heat for 2 hours waiting to board the ship. The ship was packed and the staff was rude. The condition of our room was terrible... there were fingerprints all over the cabinetry... it was plain old DIRTY! None of the staff seemed to know what was going on... every time we had a question about anything, we had to wait in a line at Guest Services or wander around aimlessly trying to find a competent staff member to answer our question. And there were LOTS of Questions!!! The whole ship is just confusing! No real pool to speak of..Just a couple of waterslides and wading pool. There is a HUGE AND SMOKY casino on Deck 6 that you have to walk through (even minor children) to get to the main theatre. There is never any room in the good restaurants (or they say) and it forces many passengers to eat off the crappy buffet.. BIG but CRAPPY. The excursion to Tiki beach in Grand Cayman was very confusing and didn't have the cool beach options that was described. Our nine year old daughter was actually bored on this ship! DO NOT TAKE KIDS!! We think that maybe NCL is trying for a different demographic. If you want to gamble it is the perfect ship for you.... but otherwise it is an Epic Failure!
