Our holiday cruise on the EOS was oustanding. We boarded in Miami effortlessly and went right to our stateroom. My wife and I shared a room and our two teenage boys had their own room next door. The rooms though small were clean and comfortable. We attended the muster station training and I liked the way we did not have to take our life jackets with us to the training as we have had to do on other cruise lines.
The staff that conducted the training made it fun and we were away in a quick manner to enjoy our cruise . The ship was clean and in great shape. The staff was friendly and helpful at every level. We sailed to Key West, Honduras, Belize, Costa Maya and Cozumel. We had two days at sea which were great days with plenty to do on the ship to occupy your time. The food and entertainment was excellent and again the staff was outstanding. We ate our dinners in the dinning room and the food was delicious and filling. We signed up to eat each night at 7:30 and our wait was short and comfortable. Our server Virgilio and his assistant Albert were the best. They and their supporting crew provided us 5 star service each and every night. The food in the Windjammer cafe was excellent and enjoyable as well.
Initially my wife was a bit anxious about traveling on a smaller ship should the seas get rough. We did experience a few days of rough water but we took motion sickness tablets daily and our whole family did well with no sickness. My family and I enjoyed the entertainment and the gym as we enjoy working out daily. Getting on and off the ship was effortless and we were made comfortable and secure at every port.
