Traveled with children

Prior to this cruise, we had cruised on the NCL Epic and the NCL Star. Both cruises were just OK. Not bad, but noticeably worse than Carnival or Royal Caribbean.

About 2 years ago, we came across a deal that we could not resist. Kids sail free AND unlimited dining in any of the specialty restaurants. We booked our family of 2 adults and 2 kids in a family oceanview cabin for less than $2000.

Cabin Review

Family Oceanview Stateroom with Large Picture Window

Cabin O1

We lucked out and got an accessible oceanview cabin (5740) on deck 5. This was the best room we have ever had in over 25 cruises. It was bigger than most hotel rooms and had tons of storage. Our kids (ages 7 and 4) really enjoyed the extra space as well as the bunk bed. Other than the lack of a bathtub (which the rest of the family oceanview cabins had), there was no downside to this room.
