We chose this as a last minute Christmas cruise. As always we were impressed with the Hotel Staff. We were very fortunate with the weather, given the disastrous previous cruise, but that is the luck of the draw.
We chose the Diamond Princess as there are direct flights from Cairns (although we stopped over in Bali en-route.
we love the cabin layout on Diamond Princess. It seems to give a feeling of spaciousness, even though we were in an inside cabin.

Interior
An excellent cabin with an air of spaciousness, on deck 12. Quiet. The separate dressing room area gave extra space. This cabin is apparently adjacent to senior officers quarters

A great terminal and although crowded and busy was typical Singaporean - extremely efficient. We often visit, and have no need for excursions

We hired a Tuk Tuk and spent a pleasant day visiting markets, temples and general sightseeing
