Loved this cruise and the people we met on Cruise Critic beforehand. The ship service was excellent and we had heaps of shore days. Christmas decorations were tops but sadly Christmas dinner was not our traditional fare....still all in all great food....the ship was excellent but no international cafe but I have heard it is to be refitted in the next 12 months to incorporate one. Tendering tended to be an issue with long queues in the sun to get back on board. The ship did bring out water and umbrellas after a couple of our tender ports which did help. The heat was extreme in the ports but this is no fault of the ship but maybe the port authorities should be more aware of shade for passengers and/or seating at their ports. Loved all the ports we called at and we did most with private tour companies and there was no problem with getting back on time.

Port Reviews

Sihanoukville

We took a taxi from the port and he was excellent . He was very proud to show us his home town and his English was ok

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

Hired a luxury van through Oriental Express with driver between six of us. Excellent ...driver took us to everywhere we wanted to go and would have taken us to more but some of the group wanted to get back ...we went to Sanctuary of Truth, Mini Siam, Floating Market and into Pattaya for a massage, lunch and a bit of shopping
