We had an overall good experience on the Jade for our first cruise. We felt that the people on board were mostly older (45+) which could have been due to the time of year that we went on our cruise. We are a couple in our mid-late twenties, so finding social experiences was a little more challenging than it seemed for other folks who had come with groups, pre-planned tours, etc. The ship itself was very clean, the room we had was spacious, and the staff was friendly and courteous. We really enjoyed the specialty dining restaurants and learned a lot about what to expect on our next cruise. We were not impressed with the shore excursions and will probably book privately next time. The entertainment that the ship provided was diverse and exciting to watch every night. The décor of the ship seemed to be in mid-transition, with some extremely outdated looks in some places while others were more modern.
