Background info, we are seasoned cruisers, opened minded people and don't let the little things get in the way of a great holiday as life is too short!

We jumped on the Ovation of the Seas from Fremantle - Adelaide just before christmas. We were able to handball our 3 children to our in-laws (thank-you!) so we could have a 5 night break from a busy year and be a couple again. Our children were not happy that we did not bring them along....

Embarkation at Freo was a complete shambles and took 2.5 hours from the time we arrived to get on to the ship. I won't go into too much detail other than dissapointing start.(We have embarked here before on the QM2, no issues at all) D
