Nice and generous hospitality!

This was my 2nd cruise with Carnival Imagination with prior experience on Grand Suite. This December I decided to take my family member of 4 and relatives of 3 to cruise on this ship again from Dec 22nd and back on 25th for Christmas celebration at home. So, we booked a Grand Suite for my family of 4 and a Junior Suite for the relatives family of 3.

3 weeks prior to the cruise date, we received a call asking us if we are interested to upgrade our Grand Suite to a 1000 ft. Owner's Suite or Penthouse, whatever you call it! We thought it'd nice if we get such room with expanded capacity we'd have all total of 7 members be gathering chit-chating in big huge living room (appx 420 sq.ft.).

So we did and accepted the offer to upgrade our Grand Suite to Owner's Suite (there are only 2 Owner's Suites available on this ship). How much? Not much, it's the price you paid for Grand Suite plus thousands of dollars to upgrade it.
