We wanted to get away from the cold and this cruise was really prices nice so we took it. The port selection was not a real winner for me as mach as getting away on a beautiful ship. At Cape Canaveral, you either take a ship tour or just walk around some. There are no shops or stores in the area of the port.
Coco Cay is Coco..... it is a nice stop but a Tender Stop.
Nassau had 5 ships in that day so everything was a mob scene. We did a Day at a Resort to have a nice day away from the crowds.
It is a split decision on what to call our stateroom. If you looked straight - left - right is was perfect. Looking down you had a room of the cabins below you and they stuck out 7-8 feet from your balcony so your down view was obstructed, not a biggie but some disliked that point.
Nothing there without taking a tour or a Taxi.
We booked a day pass at a All-Inclusive to get away from the crowds of people. There were 5 ships in port the day we were there.
We love this port, it is a drive to port for us, no AIR! There is plenty of parking lots in area and right off the NJ Turnpike. Easy drive.
