Friends of ours had sailed with Princess before and liked it. This cruise was a good schedule for us, after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas. We would go again.

Embarkation and disembarkation at Port Everglades went smoothly. We are members of the Global Entry program, so we got to skip the immigration and customs lines when we disembarked.

The cabin was as big as some hotel rooms I've stayed in, we had a balcony, and it was a big, beautiful room. Our steward was so helpful that we voted for him to get special recognition from Princess. We booked all our excursions through Princess, and we enjoyed them all. My favorite was swimming with sea turtles at Barbados and at St. Kitts.

Cabin BB

Beautiful, huge for a ship, incredibly comfortable bed and nice, smooth linens. Great bathroom, roomy shower, plenty of space for all the toiletries. Our own climate control, and they have in room entertainment, an on demand system on the flat panel tv, that let us watch movies and tv and news and the all important bridge cam.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We visited friends in Fort Lauderdale, we lived there until recently. So I can tell you that Fort Lauderdale is a tremendous place to visit. The downtown is lovely, the riverwalk, the Las Olas shopping district, the art museum, the Stranahan House museum, all are very interesting places to visit.
